One of the most common questions I am asked is how can I make this pattern pop?
Most people know that you can match patterns with any of the colors in the pattern, or with basic, neutral colors. However, if you really want the pattern to stand out, you need to find the least dominant color in the pattern. If you can match that color, at least relatively closely, your pattern will pop much more.

Pretty clothes, but for a good cause. You have to like that. Dasha Isakova has created a e-store with a twist with Dasha.
All profits from her "Live Flesh" collection of nine pieces, will be donated equally between Morozovskaya Pediatric Hospital in Russia and the Robin Hood Foundation in New York.
That’s like giving the clothes off your back! Good on you Dasha. Fashion Salad gives you two thumbs up for making the fashion biz look even better.

In an era where being too skinny is finally being pressured against, it’s good to see ethics being put into place with another controversial area: cosmetic surgery.
Whether you’re okay with it or not, people are still going to do it - so at least provide smart information. Right?!
Today men and women from virtually all walks of life are turning to cosmetic surgery as a way to bring their personal visions of beauty to life. But, with so much information out there – how do you know what’s best?
Bewiseaboutbeauty.org is an informational portal designed to help you define your personal vision of beauty – whatever that means for you. The site includes important information – from popular procedures to common misconceptions – to help you make informed decisions about cosmetic enhancement.
The campaign’s mission is to educate consumers while eradicating common misconceptions regarding plastic and cosmetic surgery. You can learn more about the site and its mission in this YouTube video:
