Paris couture may be reserved for a handful of wealthy clients, but Giorgio Armani on Wednesday gave the whole world a glimpse of his exclusive creations by becoming the first designer to broadcast an haute couture collection live on the Internet.
"Now through the democracy of the Internet, we can provide a front row seat for everyone,'’ the 72-year-old Italian said in a statement.
The Armani Prive display capped a week of extravagant catwalk shows, signaling the start of a frenzied campaign by top fashion houses to dress Hollywood stars for the Oscars.

A truck full of shoes were stolen enroute to this week’s Golden Globe awards. A total of 120 pairs of Taryn Rose footwear worth $50,000 were taken.
Luckily some of the bigger starlets, such as actress Felicity Huffman and Cate Blanchett, had already collected their shoes in advance. But many others were left to find last-minute replacements.
Dr. Taryn Rose changed the footwear industry in 1998 by creating a line of luxury shoes that are as fashionable as they are functional. It looks like many stars’ toes will have to wait for another time to feel glam & cushy!

If Britney could keep her music career on the same path her fashion sense has taken her she would be just fine. Instead, its her inability to dress (sometimes literally) that has put her at the top of Blackwell’s Worst Dressed Women in 2006. For Spears this is the 2nd year in a row atop the dubious chart.
Lucky for Britney she has company, celebutante Paris Hilton wasn’t content with her sixth place finish last year and did something about it. Or maybe she did nothing about it and that’s why she joins Brtiney Spears as co-worst dressed women leading Blackwell to dub the pair “screamgirls.”
Blackwell went on to describe them as “style-free and fashion deprived – two peas in an over-exposed pod.”
Cammila Parker-Bowles found herself in the number two slot on the list. The Brit hasn’t won over many fans of the feathered hats she dons. Lindsay Lohan was labeled as “tragically trapped in fashion’s fast lane” and sped her way up the charts to number three.
Richard Blackwell has published his ten-worst dressed women list since 1960, and it has gained cult like status amongst the media. Blackwell was a fashion designer into the sixties.
Blackwell’s worst-dressed women of 2006 are:
1) Britney Spears/Paris Hilton
2) Camilla Parker-Bowles
3) Lindsay Lohan
4) Christina Aguilera
5) Mariah Carey
6) Paula Abdul
7) Sharon Stone
8) Tori Spelling
9) Sandra Oh
10) Meryl Streep

In Style magazine featured a hip new fashion accessory – Pepperface.com’s Swarovski crystal sparked up pepper spray. It’s just a new way to spice up (no pun intended) your self defence.
What In Style didn’t mention is the celebrity auction of celeb styled one of a kind Pepperface’s to raise awareness for domestic violence protection. Bling and sting for a good cause!
