But we’ll be back the week of January 2 and will have lots of new fashion buzz and tidings for you. After all spring fashion is just around the corner!

After attending New York’s fashion week, Steven Spielberg got inspired to make a TV show about five friends’ attempt to get into fashion.

New York fashion week did more than launch great clothes -
it’s also inspired Oscar winning Steven Spielberg to turn to high fashion and develop a TV series with supermodel Christy Turlington and her husband, actor Ed Burns.

The couple will exec-produce, Burns will likely also direct, and well Spielberg is the puppet master behind it all. The TV series set in the fashion world is focused on five twentysomethings with fashion jobs such as photographer, designer, makeup artist and model.

LG Electronics and Prada today announce an exclusive partnership to develop an innovative and iconic mobile that will launch early 2007.

Mr. Patrizio Bertelli, President & CEO of Prada, said: “As we do with ready-to-wear and accessories, we were looking at a break-through. Consistently with our approach, we are not branding an existing product; rather, Miuccia and I have been working with LG to give this new phone a very strong character and unique style, both in its contents and in its design. We, just like our partners at LG, are known for the attention to detail and uncompromising quality of our products. And we find these characteristics in the new mobile phone.” [via Slashphone]

In true Prada fashion they will combine high-end technology and avant-garde design -  the LG/Prada phone is said to have a touch-screen interface with no keys. Now that’s cool.

It’s not a big surprise that Caridee has won America’s Next Top Model. But it was still a tight final.

The girls of ANTM were judged on how well they strutted on the runway, how well they wore makeup, and how well they composed themselves in various photo shoots.

Eugenia is gorgeous but she barely took a great photo. Bah-bye. That left Caridee & Melrose to hash it out. No one can stand Melrose, but she’s obviously done her modeling 101 homework and rarely takes a professional misstep. She rocked the final catwalk! But Caridee aced the final photo shoot and commercial.

So in the end it was the loopy, but gorgeous Caridee.
